The street-facing setup is the single most important feature, creating a bar that feels more social than its size would suggest.

Bintang drops to 35000 IDR, basic cocktails run in the 70000 IDR range, and the bar fills steadily through the late afternoon with a crowd of backpackers and Australian tourists on budget holidays.
