Pier 39 KTV Bar
Pier 39 KTV Bar is a budget karaoke venue on Timog Avenue that offers some of the cheapest private room rates in the Quezon City entertainment area. The venue has a dozen rooms ranging from small two-person booths to medium rooms for six. The rooms are basic: a couch, a table, a karaoke machine, and air conditioning that works with varying reliability. Room rates start at 80 to 200 PHP per person per hour on a non-consumable basis, meaning room and food or drinks are separate charges. This pricing structure makes it accessible to students and budget-conscious groups who want to sing without spending much. The song library covers Tagalog, English, K-pop, and some J-pop. Sound quality varies by room, with newer machines in the larger rooms. Beer inside costs 80 PHP, cocktails 120 to 180 PHP. There is no hostess service at Pier 39; this is a family-and-friends karaoke spot, not an adult-oriented KTV. The crowd is predominantly Filipino groups, including families on weekends.

Full Review
Pier 39 is karaoke at its most basic and most affordable. The rooms are small, the furniture is worn, and the air conditioning in my room worked but had clearly seen better days. None of this matters when the karaoke machine turns on and you are singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" with friends at 100 PHP per person per hour.
The song library was adequate, with a decent selection of English and Tagalog tracks. K-pop was well-represented, reflecting the genre's popularity in the Philippines. The touchscreen interface was responsive, and song loading times were reasonable. Sound quality was acceptable; not crisp, but loud enough and clear enough for karaoke purposes.
I booked a small room for two hours at 80 PHP per person per hour and ordered two beers at 80 PHP each. Total spend: 480 PHP for two hours of singing. This is karaoke at a price point that university students can afford on a weekly basis, and that is exactly who fills these rooms on weeknights.
On a Saturday afternoon, families occupied several rooms, with children singing Disney songs while parents cheered them on. This wholesome scene is a reminder that KTV in the Philippines is not exclusively an entertainment industry activity; it is a genuine family pastime.
Pier 39 is not the place for anyone looking for premium sound, comfortable furniture, or hostess services. It is the place for cheap, cheerful karaoke in the heart of the Timog entertainment area. For that purpose, it delivers.
