Rawhide
Rawhide brings a Western saloon theme to Soi Cowboy, with saddle-shaped bar stools, wagon wheel decorations, and country music playing through the sound system. The venue is mid-sized, seating around 35 customers around a single stage. The decor commitment goes beyond surface level; even the drink menu uses Western font and cowboy imagery. Around 12 to 18 dancers work each shift, and the shows occasionally incorporate the Western theme with costume elements. Rawhide sits in the middle section of Soi Cowboy, near Country Road, creating a small Western-themed pocket on the strip. Drink prices are at the standard level, and the atmosphere is fun without being overbearing. The bar draws visitors who appreciate the theme and regulars who like the campy humor of the whole setup.

Full Review
Rawhide commits to its theme with a dedication that's hard not to smile at. The saddle bar stools alone are worth a visit; sitting on them while watching a go-go show in a Bangkok bar is the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes Soi Cowboy entertaining.
The bar's mid-soi location places it near Country Road, which runs a similar Western theme. Together they create a pocket of cowboy culture on an otherwise theme-free strip. Rawhide is the smaller and more casual of the two, with fewer dancers and a lower-key atmosphere.
The shows incorporate Western elements when they happen, with costumes and music that nod to the theme. Between themed sets, the bar runs standard go-go rotations. The music playlist is more country-heavy than anywhere else on the soi, which either appeals to you or doesn't.
Pricing is fair. Beer at 150 THB and lady drinks at 190 THB sit in the lower-mid range for the strip. The bar fine of 900 THB is average. Bills have been clean and the staff are friendly, leaning into the cowboy theme with good humor.
Rawhide isn't the bar you build your whole Soi Cowboy evening around, but it's a fun stop that adds variety to a night of bar-hopping. The theme gives it personality that the standard dark-and-neon bars lack.
