Lucifer Patpong
Lucifer Patpong is a two-story nightclub on Patpong 1, one of the few venues in the district that operates as a proper dance club rather than a go-go bar. The ground floor has a bar and lounge area with booth seating, while the upper level houses the main dance floor with a DJ booth and sound system. The venue holds around 150 people at capacity. The crowd skews younger than the go-go bar clientele, with a mix of Thai professionals, backpackers, and tourists looking for conventional nightlife in the Patpong area. Music rotates between EDM, commercial dance hits, and Thai pop depending on the DJ and the night. The club picks up after midnight, once the go-go bars start winding down, and can push past the standard 01:30 closing time on busy weekends. Entry is usually free before midnight, with a cover charge of 200 to 300 THB after that, sometimes including a drink.

Full Review
Lucifer Patpong is the district's answer to the question 'what if I don't want to go to a go-go bar?' In a neighborhood defined by that format, having a proper nightclub option is valuable.
The ground floor serves as an entry point and lounge, with comfortable booths and a bar. The music is muted here, and it functions as a gathering spot before the dance floor upstairs kicks in. The upper level is where the club comes to life, with a decent sound system, laser lighting, and a DJ booth that's elevated above the dance floor.
The crowd is genuinely mixed. Thai twenty-somethings, backpackers from the Silom hostels, and tourists taking a break from the go-go bars all share the space. On ladies' nights (Wednesdays), the female-to-male ratio shifts noticeably, which attracts a larger crowd overall. Weekend nights are the busiest, with the dance floor packed from midnight until closing.
Drink prices run higher than the go-go bars. Beer at 180 THB and cocktails at 250 THB reflect the nightclub positioning. Bottle service starts at 2,500 THB and goes up from there. The cover charge after midnight is fair given that it usually includes a drink.
Lucifer won't compete with Bangkok's top nightclubs on Sukhumvit or Thonglor, but within Patpong it's a welcome change of pace.
